Golazo is in shock and deeply saddened to hear that our beloved friend and world record-holder marathon Kelvin Kiptum and his coach Gervais Hakizimana died in a road traffic accident on Eldoret-Kaptagat Road in Kenya. We are beyond belief. Only a few days ago, we heard that training was going well and the families were all ok. Kelvin had just finished a very strong 40km session.
On behalf of all our colleagues and his friends at Golazo, we send our deepest condolences to their families, friends and the athletics family. We will never forget them.
