GOLAZO

Multimedia distribution & sales

Golazo Media commercializes a variety of sports and entertainment content: advertisement space and sponsorships on web sites, its own multimedia products that are created for companies or the end user, or tv and multimedia rights for sports and entertainment properties.

Golazo Media not only creates content in several formats for internal or external applications, it also identifies brands, companies and end-consumers who want to use that content or at least link up to it. There is still a significantly underdeveloped business potential within the world of multimedia that Golazo Media can tap into via its specific know-how.

Sports Sponsorship management

Golazo Media is looking for partners to manage and produce its own products and properties. This includes not only `regular' advertisers who place a banner on a website or a page in a magazine to reach a specific target audience, but also motivated partnerships across diverse media, when a brand completely identifies with that topic (e.g. athletics, outdoor sports, active cycling). By gathering several media around the same promotional topic, a vast network is available to link up with the brand or vice versa. The best possible network is identified in order to translate a client's strategy in the most appropriate way.

After years of experience with the most popular (or recognized) brands in the worlds of sports, and because of its knowledge of and ties with the sports media, Golazo Media holds a unique cross-media and multi-brand platform for sports in Belgium. With its sales know-how and technical infrastructure, Golazo Media can offer every brand a wide range of media options, and with every medium, an extensive portfolio of advertisers with expertise on their target group.

Sports content sales - a joint venture with Belga

In August 2005, Golazo Media and press agency Belga started collaboration around sports content. Via standard and tailored packages, a wide range of content was created to provide the entire Belgian online and mobile phone market with specifically selected sports news, text, pictures and/or video; not only news via results and rankings or tables, but also live reports.

The content has already been seen in practically all Belgian digital media: the large portals Skynet, MSN and Telenet, the most important newspaper sites (dhnet and lesoir), online sport sections (on hln.be and sportwereld.be), mobile messages at Proximus and Mobistar, ceefax and digital text. However, to avoid editorial and formal monotonous content in the multimedia landscape (where both customer A and its competitor B produce exactly the same content), the delivered items can be completely customized.

Multimedia rights

The era when an event organizer or a federation agreed with one television channel for coverage of an event is long gone. Broadcast rights are now more often subdivided, depending on the type of content carrier: live footage, delayed footage or highlight packages via open net or pay television in Belgium and abroad, simultaneous broadcasting via Internet and mobile phones, post-event summaries by means of DVDs or on-demand via digital television.

Golazo Media is the perfect partner for optimizing the value of digital rights. Golazo Media manages a broad range of audiovisual rights to sports events and also negotiates agreements with television channels and multimedia consumers in Belgium and abroad. In this aspect of the business, optimal and maximum coverage is key (both in the general or specialized media), which is achieved by employment of multimedia, television, broadband/internet and mobile phone technology.
