Multimedia content & productions
Within the world of sports and entertainment, Golazo Media works to create all possible multimedia formats and solutions: from Internet sites to books and films, from complete portal sites to event-based micro sites or one-off video productions, from static text content to dynamic registration modules and web tv, and from broad range to one-to-one communication.
Websites
With eight years of experience in developing, setting up, maintaining and extending several (sports) web sites, Golazo Media is the ultimate partner for any conceivable web solution company, brand, event, channel, athlete, or whomever from the worlds of sports and entertainment. Golazo Media produces simple and static web sites with general information for a one-off event as well as complex web sites for large organizations that require continuous updates and multiple databases.
E-mailings / one-to-one communication
Digital media are perfectly suited for one-to-one contact with the customer. E-marketing can wrap a broad message into something truly personalized or deliver a personal message, just like text messaging. You also get a broad range of direct-response options that Golazo Media computes, interprets and reports back.
Mobile technology
Besides web sites, other multimedia formats have been developed in the last few years: mobile technology (via mobile or PDA), but also digitext... Golazo Media looks after web-based applications such as stand-alone mobile solutions (a route map, news specifically linked to a certain location, etc).
Audio - Video - tv
Golazo Media also addresses audio and video needs, including video production of an event, live-streaming via the web or television advertising. In the fields of web tv and digital tv, Golazo Media is a pioneering force (e.g., Jupiler League tv). Those productions can be broadcast via custom-oriented or existing channels to a very specific target audience. A wider audience can be reached via youtube and related web 2.0 applications.
'Classic' media: films - books - ...
In more traditional media formats, Golazo Media can also create the most diverse products, such as a book only (e.g., "My Fans" by Kim Clijsters) or a film with cross-media side products ("To Walk Again" about Marc Herremans, which also spurned an original website).
In-house editing
Golazo Media owns an in-house team of trilingual editors (professional fulltime contributing editors and a network of freelance specialists on specific domains) - 7/7 and 24/24 - specializing in creating exciting content about sports and entertainment. The editors closely monitor current affairs in the worlds of sports and entertainment; they create news items and background stories, and content in the form of text, photo, and video. The editorial teams also create customized content for the media, sponsors, companies, athletes, artists, etc.
Own titles
With its own domains properties (
www.sport.be,
www.running.be,
www.cycling.be and
www.entertainment.be), Golazo Media manages specific portals that are market leaders in their respective market segments.
Golazo Media's array of web domain properties offers the advantage of central positioning in the markets of interest, as well as the ability to monitor the needs of the end-users (web users). We are able to test innovations, create platforms, and utilize promotional strength and range for each customer's current and future production(s).
Sport.be
Sport.be originated in September 2002, at a time when nobody in Belgium was actively involved with promoting sports on the internet at a professional level. Today, sport.be reaches 770,000 single visitors per month in Belgium alone. The website is visited 2,240,000 times each month, totalling 22 million page views.
Every day - 7/7 and 24/24 - sport.be presents the most important sports news in text, photo and video content, with live coverage of the most popular sports as its primary function. All of this is linked to an important component of community involvement, where user-generated content plays a key role: via forums, votes, blogs and their own news, every sports fan can send and or write his/her own news story, submit photographs or submit opinions (online, via text messaging, or mms). All of those services, like the rest of the site's content, are free of charge.
As the premier portal for sports in Belgium, sport.be is a portal for several other websites. Extensive content integration is therefore the most important `driver' of the website.
